What is dibond aluminium
Our Aluminium composite board is a premium & long lasting option. At 3mm thick, it is made of strong PVC with a layer of Aluminium on each side. It has a very smooth front surface giving it a superior look and a perfect printing surface. Cheaper than wrapped canvas, it's the perfect mid-budget option for a top-class piece of art.

In basic terms, is is a solid black PVC board with a thin aluminium metal sheet front and back onto which we print. The finish is smooth and we comes with either a gloss or matte finish.

What size should I get?
We get this question a lot and it's really up to your own preference and wall capacity.

Popular sizing option is A2 to hang proudly, but if you want to make it a statement piece and have the room, A1 and A0 are great too!

How Thick Are The Artworks?
All of our canvas artwork is printed and mounted with a depth of 38mm (1.5 inch gallery standard).

All of our dibond aluminium artwork is 3mm thick.
How do i hang my artwork?
All of our canvas artwork comes with a free hanging kit to help you mount it on your wall.

Unfortunately our dibond aluminium artwork do not come with a hanging kit. We are working with suppliers to make this happen though!

We do recommend using Command 3M wall mounting strips as these provide a mounting solution that's hidden and safe for the wall and artwork.
How do I care for my artwork?
Our artworks are super simple to care for! Once hung, they require very little care. Just a light dust from time to time.

Dibond aluminium artworks are great as they can be easily wiped down if required with a lightly dampened cloth. All artwork is sealed for protection.

Canvas prints are more fragile and are also sealed but it is recommended to lightly wipe over / dust with a dry microfibre cloth.

LED Neon Signs

Do LED Neon signs use a lot of electricity?
Our LED Neons use energy efficient low voltage LED and cost very little to run. They also have an expected 50,000 hour lifespan.
What are they made of?
Our LED Neon signs are made from high quality acrylic backboards with silicone rubber low voltage LED Neon. LED Neon produces very little heat and is incredibly robust.

We only use the best materials to ensure amazing build quality and reliability.
Can I dim my LED Neon sign?
Yes! Every single LED Neon from Artivation comes with a handheld dimmer remote offering incremental and preset dimmer options.

The LED's we use are exceptionally bright and so the remote ensures you can light your room to a comfortable level.
Where are they made?
All of our neons are hand-made in the UK.
What are they mounted on?
Our LED Neons and most customised LED Neon will have a clear acrylic backing, this is cut to the shape of the letters/design.

How do I look after my LED neon?
All of our neon signs are very reliable and robust meaning they require no technical maintenance.

To clean your LED Neon, use a microfibre cloth to wipe gently. Harder cloths and brushes could scratch the acrylic. Avoid the surface cabling whilst cleaning.

With this options you can get your item now and pay anytime up to 30 days after. No hidden fees, no interest.

Interest free instalment plan
This option lets you pay in 3 equal amounts over 60 days. This option is also interest free with no extra fees!

Can I cancel my order?
Once we have your order we will begin the production process within 24 hours. If we receive your cancellation before this time we will refund you no questions asked. If however we have begun production, cancellations and amendments to your order will not be possible.
Promo Codes
You need to enter the code exactly as it was given to you, without any spaces. Type or copy and paste the code into the 'Discount' box.
This can be found on the cart page or during checkout by clicking the "Show order summary & discount" text if on mobile, and on the right had side on other devices.

If you find that your promo code isn't working then please check the below:

- You can only use one discount/promo code per order.
- Discount/promo codes cannot be used for gift vouchers. As our discount/promo codes vary so do the terms and conditions of each, so make sure you check when you receive any codes.
- Codes may only be valid for certain items and the majority of codes will have an expiry date. You should be able to find the terms and conditions in the same place you found the code whether it be through an email or on our website. Check out our Ts&Cs for more information.
- Some codes will only work for specific people or for specific countries. The terms and conditions will state if the code can only be used in a certain country. If you've received the code in an email from Artivation then the code may also be locked to that email address. Make sure you're trying to use the code using your Artivation account that has the same email address as we sent the code to.

We've worked hard to ensure your orders arrive fast and securely without adding to the cost of the items.

We offer FREE 24 hour tracking delivery on all orders, no matter the size.

Please note that because our items are hand-made to order, we usually dispatch artworks within 3-4 working days and neons between 1-2 weeks.
Do You Ship Internationally?
Currently we only ship to the United Kingdom.

Unfortunately we are unable to accept international orders at this time. We are working with our partners and connections to expand in the near future ensuring international deliveries will be timely, affordable and most importantly reliable.

We want to make sure that when we do open our doors to international customers, the service is just as amazing as it is for our UK customers.

How Long Will It Take To Get My Package?
UK customers
We produce all products to order and so it takes time for us to have your artwork printed or neon sign hand-made and sent out for you. We do ship with next day delivery to keep overall delivery times down.

Artwork is usually dispatched within 2-4 working days. Please allow 4-6 working days for your item to arrive. If your order has not arrived after 10 days, please contact us ASAP so that we can see where the hold up is and rectify any issues.

Neon signs take longer than artworks as they are hand-crafted with the utmost care and quality. We usually dispatch these within 1-2 weeks.

International customers
Unfortunately we are unable to accept international orders at this time. We are working with our partners and connections to expand in the near future ensuring international deliveries will be timely, affordable and most importantly reliable.
Why hasn't my item been dispatched yet?
We ship almost all artworks within 2-4 working days and neons signs within 1-2 weeks. Once shipped, we will update your order with the delivery tracking number. You will receive an email notifying you of this with a link to track your order.

Returns, Refunds & Exchanges

What if I want to return my items?
We are committed to our customers and want you to be happy. We stand by our product and offer a 100% customer satisfaction guarantee. Just return the product to us undamaged and in its original packaging within 30 days, and we will gladly refund you or credit you for an exchange.
How do I return an item?
If you would like to return an item, please get in contact and we will provide you with a returns label to stick on the package. Simply follow the instructions provided with the label to return the item.

Please note you must do so within 30 days of the time of receipt in the same condition. Once we have received and checked the item we will issue a full refund straight away. You will receive email confirmation at every step.

Refunds are processed and returned to the same payment method you used to checkout originally.

Unfortunately we cannot offer refunds via alternative payment details.
When Do I Get My Refund?
Once we have received and inspected the item, qualifying returns will be processed immediately.

Please note that refunds can take 3-5 working days to reach you depending on your bank.
What if my item arrives damages or faulty?
We do our very best to ensure your items arrive in perfect condition but sometimes accidents do happen during the delivery phase.

In this case we will ask for photos demonstrating the damage. Where you can, please sign for the delivery as damaged.

We ask that you return any damaged items. We will cover the cost of return. We can then offer a full refund or alternatively we will of course have another sent out to replace it free of charge. It is totally up to you.
I've only received part of my order, what do I do?
Due to the nature of items we sell, we like to package them so that each item is as safe as possible! This means sometimes there is more than one package.

Another reason is that some items may take longer to produce than others, and to get you your art as quickly as possible, we will dispatch them separately.

You will receive an email letting you know which artwork(s) or neon(s) are on their way with tracking information for it.

You will then receive an additional email as soon as your other item(s) have been shipped with the relevant tracking information.

If your email shows all items being dispatched and you still only receive part of your order, please get in contact with us via the contact page or live chat so that we can investigate further for you.

We take this very seriously and so ensure that we are doing as much as we can to make sure what we do is done as sustainably as possible.

Packaging
All of our packaging is designed to use as little material as possible whilst still protecting your item.

All outer packaging is recyclable and we ask that you do reuse or recycle where possible!
Shipping
A big contributor of pollution is vehicle pollution. To combat this, with all of our deliveries we use couriers that offer carbon neutral 24hr deliver. This way we can get your product to you without adding to carbon pollution!
LED Neon Materials
Our neon style LEDs are mounted onto an acrylic backing which of course is a type of plastic.

This is the best material for the purpose and so to help reduce waste, we recycle all acrylic offcuts to make sure we aren't being wasteful.
Planting Trees
While making sure our processes are as eco friendly as possible, there's still more for us to do!

We commit to planting 1 tree for every item that you order. If you order a collection of 3 artworks, we'll plant 3 trees!
